Celebrating 2011/2012 Teachers and Support Staff of the Year
During the September 7, 2011 Board of Trustees Meeting, 2011/2012 Teachers and Support Staff of the Year were recognized and honored for their committment to quality education and for putting "Children First." Teachers and Support Staff of the Year were named towards the end of the 2010/2011 school year; however, the announcement of the top honor in each category was saved until September 7, 2011. Mr. Gale Scroggs IV, a social studies teacher at Fort Mill High School, was named the Fort Mill School District's Teacher of the Year. Tammy Furr, a nurse at Gold Hill Middle School, was named the Support Staff of the Year for the District. Click here more pictures and the District's News Release.

Enrollment Freeze
The enrollment freeze at Gold Hill Elementary will continue for the 2011-2012 school year. New resident elementary students of the Gold Hill Elementary attendence area will attend Riverview Elementary School. Shuttle bus transportation is provided by the district. See more.
